The Review:

A 3 song EP consisting of a cover tune, a remake and a live song. This CD was available only at the Club Citta show earlier this year (2002). I was indirectly handed this EP at the recent October 27th Rocket Scientists show by Lana & Erik (my then wife actually brought it to me).

Upon hearing the CD, I was so pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of a cover song, "Phantom's Theme" from the Brian DePalma's (his first big movie) musical horror movie "Phantom of the Paradise" from 1974. Originally the "Phantom's Theme" was sung by Paul Williams in the character of Swan, but Lana gave it a different perspective with her powerful voice.

I'm still a firm believe that Lana & Erik would be perfect to bring the rest of the soundtrack into the new millennium. Can you tell I love the movie?

The second song are "Frankenstein Unbound". This version is sited as "long version/new remix" clocking in over 8 minutes. The final song is a live version of "Fly" backed by the Rocket Scientists. This was recorded at a pre show (Troubador) in 2000 for the final Progfest.
