The Review:

Illusion is a four piece, hard rock group hailing from Detroit. Their sound on their latest release, Sleight Of Hand is a straight ahead rock that’s firmly rooted in the late 70's/ early 80's hard rock camp. They go for the type of hard rock that was pure and gimmick less as well as ones that needed to be a fashion show on stage. While the music isn’t entirely original, it is refreshing in today’s directionless nu-metal scene.

The music is very infectious and you might find yourself thrusting your fist in the air, or some air-guitar moves. Guessing from how the music sounds on the CD, one can only imagine how they are live. In fact, I’m sure they’re a very big crowd pleaser wherever they take the stage. Sleight Of Hand is recommended to fans of afore mentioned Hard Rock scene.
