The Review:

Co-Conspirator returns with a brand new EP called Unknowing. From the first listen you can hear the band’s influences woven within their own sound. Such band to be noted are King Crimson, Gordian Knot & Cynic. Along with another new comer, Aziola Cry, they forge ahead with a new breed of instrumental progressive technical metal.

I’ve found some of the technical metal bands to be all show and no soul. That’s not the case with Co-Conspirator, they add a much needed soul into the genre thus making them a unique band in my opinion. The EP is 30 minutes well spent in my opinion especially if you like the afore mentioned bands and instrumental music. Recommended! Indeed!
