The Review:

Quecia are a 5-piece female fronted rock band from the north west of England. Their music basically is a classic rock sound with some folk and pop music mixed in. The female vocals range from soft to raw without losing the beauty. Quecia, currently have two CDs under their belt and I’ve been lucky enough to get their second one. so I can't comment too much on their musical development from their debut to this release.

All the songs are well written and have a memorable quality to them that sets them apart from most rock bands today. If I HAD to give similarities, I'd say they are very similar sounding to bands Mostly Autumn, Lana Lane and Brave but with their own distinctive sound. I don’t have a favorite song because they all sound very good.

In closing, if you enjoy female fronted bands, you can't do wrong with Quecia. Please check out their MySpace page for songs and videos or their Quecia II @ bandcamp and if you like what you hear, then please go to either to the band's website or your favorite online vendor to order your copy today!
