The Review:

Hope To Find is a new progressive rock band from Turkey that incorporates some metal and alternative music on their debut 4 song EP, “Still Constant”. All of the songs are between the 6-7 minute mark. They‘re all very melodic and full of catchy moments on each song which is a perfect way to attract modern progressive rock fans.

From the opening track, “The Grand Opening”, with it’s hard rocking vibe to the ending jazzy metallic ending track “City Soul”, this band takes hold of the listener and never lets go. If you like modern progressive rock, then the outcome of this debut, is the creation of an instant fan.

The ending track “City Soul” has a video on Hope To Find’s website. I’m guessing that the band is aiming this song as the lead single, to show off the band‘s capacity. This doesn’t take away from the rest of the songs because they’re equally as good in my book.

In closing, I feel that the music on this debut clearly give, Hope To Find, a foothold in today’s progressive community and should be spoken about in the same sentences as Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Pain Of Salvation and Opeth to name a few. Fans of those bands will definitely to seek out this EP in their collection and put Hope To Find on the Prog radar. I look forward to their future, which I feel is a bright one.
