The Review:
- Canturbe's music is a rather mellow, almost acoustic approach, in the style of Italian seventies progressive scene. There’s a slight Canterbury influence throughout El Vuelvo De Los Olivados. It was first released in 1980 and in 2003 Jorge Garacotche along with Viajero Inmovil Records re-released it for more people to hear this very somber collection of songs.I find myself in a relaxed mood when I listen to this CD. It’s a nice contrast to the bombastic styles so commoningly heard these days. This is definitely a CD for those longing for the 70's style of prog rock from Italy. Recommended to those fans of jazz rock and Italian style progressive music.
