The Review:

Very seldom do I get a demo cd that contains music interesting enough to me to await a full debut release. The music is a blend of symphonic prog, bordering on metal reminding me of Dream Theater in the heavier moments, ELP in the complex and Camel in the symphonic moments. Most of the songs contain long instrumental passages that keep them rooted more in the classic style. The only thing modern is the production, other than that the band has the sensibilities of a band from the 70's. While the music doesn’t reinvent the genre, I feel that they achieve what most modern bands don’t, solid well thought of compositions that contain some surprise twists that keep you interested all the way through the song. Also a lead singer that doesn’t try to sound like any other prog singer is a big plus, at least to me it is.

Still not convinced? Well you can check out their songs either on their website or their page at MySpace.com and make up your mind. I’m sure once you do, you’ll be awaiting anxiously along side me for a full release.
