The Review:

The Hard Orange X-tet’s latest release Freakin’ Delightful is chock full of jazz harmonies and quirky (mostly) instrumental arrangements. This is for fans of eclectic, avant garde music or fans of the RIO movement. This is something I normally don’t listen to, but it is by far one of the more unique sounding music I’ve heard since starting reviewing. It’s very on par with most of what’s on the Cuneiform Records label. So if you dig any of their releases, then you’ll have to give The Hard Orange X-tet a try.
