The Review:

S.K.U.R.K. is a new Metal band from Sweden. Unfortunately, I find that their debut album is almost entirely unlistenable. I have tried to be open-minded about this band, but I can't get past the screaming vocals, no matter what language it's in, nor can I forgive the guitar abuse.

Now, I am a person who loves Metal, and I feel I know the genre well, but S.K.U.R.K. is the type of Metal that sounds like fingernails on a chalk board. There is no melody, no hooks, no originality. Their guitars do not thrash, they trash. This album dull, boring, and repetitious.

The song Abrakadaver simsaladum is possibly the only one I can stand, Blodsband tries to be a ballad but puts the listener to sleep, and Dott kott is almost digestible, but by the time it comes around, you don't care anymore.
