The Review:

Normally the style of music on Rennick’s debut To The Skies is something I don’t review but it contains many elements found in some progressive and art rock music of the mid to late 70's. Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Rennick music is rooted in a style that is blend of goth, pop and techno. Some even say that his brooding vocal delivery are reminiscent of Morrissey. Like Morrissey, Rennick's are full of haunting melodies mixed with dark lyrics.

I really don’t have a favorite track on this debut only because I was never into this style of music even in it’s heyday. I would recommend listening to his music at his page at myspace before purchasing. I’m sure fans of the aforementioned bands or the new wave movement of the late 70's early 80's.
