The Review:

Rick Ray uncovered a long lost recording sessions of Neurotic from 1979 called Mazy Craniacs and re-released it in 2005. Even though it's not remastered or tweeked, it is a very nice archival release for Rick, as a way for his fan's to see how he began in the 70's and bring forth Mazy Craniacs. Here we see the raw roots of what would come in the many recordings by Rick Ray years later.

A brief history lesson, Neurotic was a band started in 1973 by Rick Ray when he was 14 years old along with his brother John on bass, Rick Schultz on reeds and Harvey Phillips on drums.

This album is recommended for fan’s of Rick Ray and the jam style of 70’s style of rock.
