The Review:

Naikaku-No-Wa (Internal Nuclear Tide) is Japan's newest all instrumental progressive rock band releases their debut CD, Wheel of Fortune on August 8th, 2003.

Wheel of Fortune is an amazing chaotic roller coaster ride. From the first note, it captures your attention and never lets you go.

This band's ability to to take classic progressive rock then adding some modern touches helps them secure their place amongst Japan's contribution the progressive community. The music is fresh and "hip". All of the songs are well crafted from start to finish.

Highlights on their debut are an metallic crunch take on Focus', classic "Hocus Pocus" and the two 13+ minute epics, "In Short, You've Just Changed "Point Of View", Don't You? It's Only A Superficial Part, Right? Modern? Or Post-Modern? We Don't Care. Go Home! Go Back To That Sea!" and "Crisis".

This is an amazing debut and I hope we'll be hearing more from these guys in the not too distant future. Highly recommended!
