The Review:

Lion Music releases another “super group” of metallic fusion called MCM. It’s a trio of guitarist Alex Masi, Randy Coven on bass, and drummer John Macalus who fuse hard rock, metal, classical, jazz, prog rock, and funk, into a wild frenzy of music that only Lion Music can bring forth..Very typical stuff here, harkening somewhat back to the neo-classical movement in the 80's but with a lot more variety in the sound. This is one of the few CDs of the Lion Music roster that keeps me captivated, although I’ve not delved into the jazz fusion territory enough to make comparisons. I can say that if you like no nonsense music with power and originality, you can do no better than MCM. I hope this is a group that will continue to put out more recordings
