The Review:
- Nashville, Tennessee is more know for it’s Country music artist so when Life In The Sky sent me their debut Illusions of Loudness, I was skeptical about what I’d hear. Surprisingly enough the music that the duo of Dave Campbell (guitars, bass, keyboards, & vocals) and Andrew Dickson (drums), combines modern metal with prog, industrial and gothic hard rock. This provides a dark and moody feel throughout the album. that is rather original sounding .This should be very appealing to both classic metal and modern metal fan’s as well as those into prog metal and the heavier side of neo-prog. They also have a strong mainstream appeal that will defiantly make them sought after by fan’s and record label’s alike. This is a very good release for 2004!
