The Review:

Even though the self-titled debut from Graveyard was recorded in 2007, you would have sworn it was recorded in trhe early 1970's and unearthed for release on cd. The music is rooted in a psychedelic, bluesy yet heavy guitar sound. Just think of bands like Cream, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, The Doors, Pentagram, Grand Funk Railroad, or newer acts like Dazing (vocals), Burning Saviours, Black Bonzo and others on the Transubstans Records label and you get the idea of Graveyard’s sound.

Graveyard is a psychedelic fan’s wet dream in many ways especially for those that experienced it back in the early days or even newbies such as myself. It’s wonderfully produced in a way that makes it sound like an old recording without sounding dated. Some standout tracks are the opening “Evil Ways” and the haunting closer, "Satan's Finest", If you’re a fan of the early 70's hard rock laced with a doom, psychedelic, and blues especially the aforementioned bands, then do your ears a favor by picking up a copy of this debut ASAP!
