The Review:

I received a copy of Big World, the latest release by multi-instrumentalist & composer Gary Paul Bryant. Gary mixes, with ease, rock, jazz and classical music on this all instrumental album. I’d almost go as far to describe it as symphonic pop do to the cinematic qualities of the music. The music is on the soft side though so it never gets too intense. That being said, it’s a nice escape into a peaceful musical world where your mind can drift for a while, away from it’s daily worries.

I would recommend Gary Paul Bryant’s Big World to fans of such artists as Alan Parsons (solo and as Alan Parsons Project), most of the lighter symphonic progressive rock acts like Bruce Main. While Gary’s music isn’t really progressive as those acts, his music can easily fit well with them.
