The Review:

Swedish band, Drahk Von Trip recorded a 4 song demo called “Is Us” back in 2003 that combines elements of psychedelic rock with a slight symphonic progressive edge. Each of the songs tend to start off with a quietness then slowly build up. They can be compared to some of the bands of the late 60's psychedelic rock .Recently, one band that comes to mind is Azigza, less the Middle-Eastern influences. Drank Von Trip is more rooted in the rock end of the spectrum.

This demo gives us a preview of what’s to come from this new band, who’s debut will be released sometime in the spring of 2005. It should, hopefully get the deserved recognition it needs. Drank Von Trip is a band to look out for in the near future. If this demo is any indication of what their debut will sound like, we’re in for a treat.
