The Review:

Christian Scott’s Rewind That is an outstanding album, with it mixture of straight ahead and jazz fusion compositions. I haven’t been listening to Jazz music that long but I have to say that I’m very impressed with this album. So much so that it has been in heavy rotation in my cd player. One thing about Christian, who plays the trumpet, is he’s able to bring a modern vibe to the genre without sacrificing the true nature of the music. Christian Scott is amazing throughout this album and I for one, wiill be looking out for more from this talented musician.

Rewind That is recommended for fans of Miles Davis, Return To Forever, Weather Report and countless other jazz and fusion acts of the seventies. I know this will be a big album of 2006 within many musical communities. Check it out ASAP!
