The Review:

Only a duo of Jason Blake and Mike Milaniak have continued onward as Aziola Cry from their debut album, Elipsis. Now joined by new drummer Tom Murray, they release an EP called Ghost Conversations. The EP is divided into three parts and while retaining the heaviness of the debut, it shows a more atmospheric side. If this is any indication of what’s to come, I believe Aziola Cry will become a force to be reckoned within the heavy progressive genre.

I felt their debut was really good but with this EP, they’re upping the ante a bit more which to me shows great musicianship. I believe that the fans of bands like King Crimson, Tool or Anekdoten (to name a few) need to own Ghost Conversations ASAP.! It’ll be very worth your while!
